Since I was young, I remember that I had an allergy to nickel and all kind of steels. I could just wear plastic watches and belts with plastic buckles. Those were cheap nylon or canvas web strap belts.
The only advantage I found wearing those simple belts was that I discover it allowed me to pass security checkpoints with the belt on!
It was particularly convenient at the airport, as I always been a frequent traveller!
The issue was just the “cheap” look of the belts, so I decided to create a classy leather belt and associate it with a strong polymer blend buckle.
And “ITAY Belts” was born!
Our product line of metal free leather belts will grow in the coming months, including our famous split leather belt in black or brown, a 100% vegetable tanned full grain leather belt with a luxury look, and a travel security belt with a hidden money pocket.
